In my initial consult with Taylor and her mom, they mentioned shooting in downtown Jacksonville. That is something that I had never done, not because I wasn’t willing to, but because I’d never had someone ask! I am always up for a new experience, though, so off wen went! Taylor had a great vision for her session, and specifically wanted to get a photo with the skyline of the downtown area. We ended up getting just about everything she wanted, from the skyline, to her love of soccer and we even made it over to Jacksonville beach for a few pictures before we lost all the gorgeous daylight.

During her time at Interlachen High School, she played volleyball, and was involved with the Fellowship of Christian students. Taylor says among her favorite things to do in her spare time are playing volleyball, staying fit and working out, and being with her friends. She wanted a more trendy and upscale style for her session, and I think these photos reflect her chic fashion sense. After graduation, which she is really looking forward to, she hopes to attend Santa Fe for college, and then transfer to UF for a degree in physical therapy. “I’ve seen some of my friend’s senior portraits that you did and they are all AMAZING”, she told me, “I just love your work, and they always turn out great!” Such kind words, and such a privilege to get to capture her senior year.
