Meet Hanna! She is graduating from Keystone Heights High School, where she loves playing soccer and is on the student council. When I first met her and her mom Christy, I got pretty excited! Hanna had a unique style that was unlike anyone I’d ever photographed before. I always love when seniors want to be a bit adventurous with their wardrobe and stylings, and Hanna knocked it outta the park! She had a glam style with a bit of an edge, and she requested a variety of locations to use all her great outfits. For her first outfit, we kept things classic and simple, and did more traditional hair and makeup to give her a few timeless shots. While I love my seniors expressing themselves through dress/makeup, I do recommend at least a few more classic shots that will withstand the test of time!
For Hanna’s second and third looks, she went a bit more edgy with a little bit of a nineties feel. I loved the cutoffs and Converse (she says she loves to shop at places like PacSun or Tilly’s), and then we found a fun tunnel in Palatka that worked with her bright crimson top. One of Hanna’s big requests was a grafitti wall, and thankfully, we found TWO. This first wall was part of a car wash located in St. Augustine that a local artist painted. It was a perfect match with this outfit of Hanna’s.
The next location was another perfect match. Hanna’s session was on a busy weekend in St. Augustine celebrating St. Patrick’s day. Thank goodness we didn’t have to go downtown and battle the crowds for our locations, but as we shot here on the side wall at Rochelle’s, we had many spectators passing by heading to the festivities! Hanna kept that big smile even with an unexpected audience, and the bright colors were so worth it. On our way back home, we decided to make one more stop for this last GORGEOUS outfit and a few cap and gown photos! After graduation, Hanna plans on attending Florida Atlantic University.
Hanna, I know your future is as bright as you are! I am so blessed and thankful you chose me to capture your senior portraits, thank you!
