This girl right here… Oh my goodness, I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard all day long with Mckenzie and her momma. I was so excited to meet and have the opportunity to photograph this young lady. During our consultation, the one thing Mckenzie mentioned was she wanted it to be cooler for her session. Well, living in Florida, you can never predict that. We scheduled her session for the end of January and she managed to get the cool temperature of 88 for the day… I guess it could have been worse 🙂
For Mackenzie’s session, she wanted to incorporate an urban location along with some country, outdoor charm. One of my favorite locations that combines these two very different themes is the town of Micanopy, FL. Micanopy is full of old historic buildings, antique shops, and typically isn’t crowded. It was the perfect spot to compliment Mckenzie’s outfit choices for her senior session.
Mckenzie was a part of the 2017 graduating class of Keystone Heights High School. During her senior year of high school, she was active in both the basketball and track teams, she also was voted Homecoming Queen. Outside of school, Mckenzie spends a lot of time with her church youth group, singing, and going on mission trips.
