For our last senior session, we showed you the beauty of St. Augustine, but the beauty of each senior session is that we find locations to suit the differing personalities and styles. Today, we found ourselves at a few other gorgeous spots; a farm location, and also downtown Palatka, Florida for Brianna’s senior portraits. Brianna is extremely down to earth, and tons of fun, which made our session a blast. Her hair and makeup brought out her natural beauty, and our locations made her shine! Probably one of my favorite features that this gal had were her incredible BLUE EYES! They are pretty mesmerizing, aren’t they?!

Before her session, Brianna sent me a picture of her homecoming dress, which was sooooo pretty, and  I just knew the exact location I wanted to shoot her in it. The lace and pretty, muted colors stood out in our urban location, which made it pretty and a bit edgy! I always ask my seniors what they believe true beauty means, and Brianna said, “I think it means someone who us comfortable in their own skin, and who doesn’t need to hide behind a lot of makeup”. I loved that…our culture loves to pile on the outer things like makeup and clothes, so I am always so moved when I get to meet young women who have substance as well as beauty!

One of Brianna’s true passions is soccer. She has absolutely enjoyed her years on the IHS soccer team with many of her close friends. I am so glad she wanted to tie this into her senior session, so we did a few shots in her letterman’s jacket, which she worked incredibly hard to earn.
