What a beauty! This brunette graduate, Chelsea, is a senior at Williston High School in Williston, Florida. I loved every bit of the time I got to spend with her and her family; they were so kind and wonderful to me! Her session marked a first for me, even as a veteran photographer…because we had to reschedule her session, her mom was unable to attend. Instead, her dad, Glen, accompanied her instead. I must admit, having a dad come to a senior session was a new thing for me, but he set the bar HIGH! He was a ton of fun, and even lent a hand as an assistant and lighting technician (hear that, fellow senior dads? Come on, it’s a good time!!)

I asked them both to trust me with my locations, even if I pulled off on the side of the road, because I was searching out the spots to best compliment gorgeous Chelsea and her outfits. She requested a mix of country and urban settings, and we were able to fill both those requests. We shot locally here in Melrose, and then also in one of my new favorite locations, Micanopy, Florida. Micanopy is one of the best locations, because it offers the scenery and locations without the massive crowds that are difficult to navigate. Chelsea had a fantastic eye for fashion, and chose berry tones, pretty creams, and neutrals to complement her eyes and hair. These shots came out beautifully, and I hope she will treasure them for years to come (and remember the fun memories she made with her dad!)
