6 FALL FASHION MUST HAVES….What to wear, fall fashion trends. Ahh this is my favorite time of the year for senior sessions. I wish here in Northeast Florida that fall meant getting to see all the gorgeous colors mother nature has to share, unfortunately it doesn’t. However, we are lucky enough that we can add beautiful fall colors to senior sessions through fall fashion. Fall fashion is probably my favorite because of the rich color selection and there is only a short amount of time here in Florida that we get to layer up. What’s your favorite fall trend this year? Fringe, fur, florals, leather, metallics, plaid, and velvet? What’s your favorite fall must have? Hats, jackets, scarves, boots, dresses, or chokers? Let’s see some examples of how to put this year’s fall fashion trends and some must haves for fall together for that picture perfect look.

1. HATS
If you know me you know here at Alyssa Chappell Photography our senior style closet is full of hats. I love buying hats! I love getting girls to wear hats for their pictures! I love hats. Hats can be a great accessory to wear, to hold, to add a pop of color to your outfit!

2. JACKETS
Jackets are the perfect accessory to add to your outfit for deminsion to your outfits. Layering is always something that flatters all figures especially in photos.

3. SCARVES

Where to start with scarves….infinity, plaid, blanket, sheer, and cable knit only to name a few. Scarves are great way to add color or texture to an outfit. If we are filming a senior film scarves are great to show movement.

4. BOOTS
Who doesn’t LOVE shopping for boots??? NOT it!! I love boots! now finding comfortable ones have been a challenge but I love all the options there are ankle boots, calf boots, riding boots, cowboy boots, knee high boots, and heck even some thigh high boots. Boots can completely change your outfit and add the perfect flare for fall. You can even get your boots monogrammed if you want:-)

5. DRESSES
Ahhh, I am a sucker for dresses in my style closet also. The rich color selection this fall has been so great to see. I also have found that velvet is HOT this year. Now velvet gives me the chills to touch but hey it looks amazing this year and makes me want to give it a try again!!! I am loving all the rich colors I am seeing this year!!!!

6. CHOKERS
Chokers seem to be an accessory that has made a come back and I have been loving all the variations and ability to layer necklaces with the help of chokers. I have been adding quite the selection of chokers to the senior style closet also here at Alyssa Chappell Photography.
